General information for Contributing Authors

Oldenbourg Wissenschaftsverlag has established the Authors’ Portal to offer an easy way for the uploading of contributions to our journals. With your personal password you are entitled to enter the portal as author. This guarantees that unauthorised access to your contribution is impossible at any time between uploading and publication.

The Authors’ Portal enables:
– electronic submission of contributions
– tracking the current status of a contribution.

To start with you have to register as New Author

Instructions for Manuscript Preparation

Look up the detailed instructions for the preparation of manuscripts at “Autorenservice” on the Oldenbourg homepage or on the homepage of the journal to which you want to submit your paper. It is important that you read the instructions and use the corresponding style file.

All data relevant to the article have to be packed as *.zip, *.tar or a similar format and copied into one folder.
Text, diagrams, illustrations, tables etc. have to be separated into different files. If LaTeX is used all necessary style guides have to be included.

Please do not forget to send a PDF-File as well.

Do not use more than 20 characters for your file name and exclude special characters and spaces.

Should your file exceed 10 MB, please contact your provider and the publisher in order to assure a faultless transmission.
